Helloooo, Manhattan
I’ve returned to New York with a grueling schedule and a number of wonderful adventures. After my beloved Virgin America airlines destroyed my lucky purple suitcase and an unlicensed cab driver attempted to kidnap me at JFK, I rallied from my redeye flight for a great Wilshire & Washington with Adriel Hampton, an amazing candidate for Congress in NorCal who is doing genius things on Twitter (@adrielhampton). Of course, I immediately reconvened with Jacqueline, Katy and Katie and hit Pick-a-bagel on 3rd Ave. Then Romi and I squeezed in a lil trip to The Today Show (below), where she talked about truuconfessions and our new book. Meetings galore, gmail malfunctioning, kamikaze cab drivers, bulldog sightings, snuggling the twin kitties, subway rides, vile Taxi TV. It’s good to be back in my new home.
