2008 Election

Give it Up Bitter Cougars, er, PUMAs …

Are people really going to continue to give credibility to this movement of sore losers who are determined to divide and conquer the resurgence of progressive values in America? If Obama had lost I would have been thoroughly pissed, but I would have found a new hobby or joined a grassroots effort for an issue I care about, like stopping the anti-gay marriage amendment in California. I won’t delude myself by attempting to argue that I wouldn’t have complained, but dedicating one’s self to the effort to re-establish HRC’s candidacy at the convention in Denver is an unfortunate use of passion and activism. The primary system was certainly a clusterf***, but handing over another four years of executive power to Republicans to make a point is maybe not the way to further our values. I’m just saying.
